Overview of Services

The mission of the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center Liquid Biopsy Shared Resource (LBSR) is to provide state-of-the-art engineering solutions and platforms to analyze liquid biopsies, including cell-free nucleic acid, circulating tumor cells, immune cells, and extracellular vesicles.

Major Services

- Extraction of cell-free nucleic acids
- Microfluidics-based cell enrichment and enumeration
- Single cell sorting
- Next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation
- Ion Torrent-based NGS with variant and copy number analysis
