Overview of Services

The lab is open 10 AM- 4 PM Monday to Friday except for university holidays and season days. All experienced users can contact Tao at 615-4833 or tcjin@umich.edu for after-hours and holiday use.

The Molecular Biology Core (MBC) is a School of Dentistry-sponsored biotechnology facility serving the research community since 2001. The MBC provides real-time quantitative PCR service (QuantStudio 3, ABI-7500 instruments).

The MBC also provides:

  • methodology, technique, and experiment design consultation
  • analytical software training
  • data analysis, statistics, and result interpretation assistance
