Overview of Services

This cores services fall into two groups: sample processing and immune assays. The sample processing is available only to Rogel Cancer Center members. Clinical samples (usually blood, but also urine, BAL and bone marrow aspirates) are processed and stored for future analysis. We do not provide long term sample storage. Immune assays are provided to the University at large. The bulk of these are either ELISA or Luminex assays. The Luminex assays are (sometimes) purchased for individual investigators, or (usually) provided by the investigators. ELISA assays can be done the same way (with investigator-provided kits), but are usually done with stocked reagents. For in-stock ELISAs, please see the worksheets attached to the service page; entering your assay request specifics in the form will generate an accurate cost estimate.
